Aidas Baranauskas

Aidas Baranauskas has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Aidas most recently worked at Metasite as a Software Engineer starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Fintegry as a Software Engineer from September 2020 to August 2021.

Before their roles as a Software Engineer, Aidas worked at Metasite as a Junior Software Engineer from June 2019 to September 2020. Aidas also gained experience as a Junior .NET Developer at 4Team Corporation from February 2019 to June 2019.

Aidas has also interned as a .NET developer at Present Connection, where they developed an employee evaluations web application using ASP.NET Core 2, Entity Framework, and Web API. Additionally, they gained a good understanding of source control using Bitbucket and Sourcetree during this internship.

In 2018, Aidas pursued self-learning as a C#.NET developer, gaining experience in ASP.NET Core MVC, Entity Framework, Web API, SQL Server, and Unit Testing. Aidas also attended a Full Stack Web Development Boot Camp at Vilnius Coding School, where they developed a fully functioning, responsive web page and improved their skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Photoshop tools.

Before their career in software development, Aidas worked as a Crew Chief at Gentle Giant Moving Co Inc, where they provided moving and related services to customers. Aidas also managed and organized moving processes according to customers' needs, handled claims, and sold additional services and materials.

Aidas has also gained experience in the banking sector as a Pension Service Banking Specialist at Danske Bank GSL. Additionally, they worked as a Mover/Packer at Gentle Giant Moving Co Inc as part of a work and travel program from June 2012 to September 2013.

Aidas Baranauskas earned a Master's degree in Financial markets from Mykolas Romeris University from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration and Management from Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Aidas has obtained several certifications, including Exam 483: Programming in C# from Microsoft in July 2020, CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in December 2022, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2021, and CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in June 2021.
