Anna Rembold is the CEO and Founder of Metavent, a company specializing in virtual events software designed for event professionals, focusing on delivering cinematic experiences with real-time data and analytics. Rembold was also a member of the Techstars Anywhere ‘22 Cohort and served as President of the Society For Sustainable Events (SFSE) from June 2020 to June 2021. Prior to founding Metavent, Rembold was the President of Anna Marie Events, a corporate and special event planning firm, from January 2012 to April 2020, and held the position of Director of Operations at Liquid Realty Partners from July 2006 to August 2011. Rembold’s career began with roles as an Administrative Business Partner at Babcock & Brown and NBC Internet. Rembold holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art from Mills College.

Metavent is virtual event software for companies hosting all-hands meetings for teams of 2,000 people who need fully engaged, aligned and inspired teams. We provide a dimensional sense of place that feels relatable and is customizable, where attendees control the journey and connect in large or small groups and 1:1, so hosts can bring teams intoalignment. Metavent was founded in April 2020 by event professionals who wanted to prove that high-quality virtual events could be made available at scale for a fraction of the price. We fundamentally believe that virtual gatherings are a viable, sustainable alternative and compliment to live events.
