Alexander Colgan

Alexander Colgan has a wealth of work experience spanning from 2009 to 2020. In 2009, they were a Research Assistant and Features Editor at the University of Regina. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Senior Researcher for the Lost to the Sea Memorial Project and PR Manager for the World’s Largest Truck Convoy for Special Olympics Nova Scotia. In 2012, they began working at Leap Motion as a Senior Director of Marketing and Community, Digital Content and Community Lead, and Head Writer. In 2019, they became the Founder of Farflung Studio, a marketing, brand, and customer experience consulting firm, as well as a Mentor & Marketing Partner at XR Ignite Community Hub & Hyper-Accelerator. In 2020, they were appointed as the VP Marketing at MetaVRse.

Alexander Colgan completed their Masters degree in Social and Political Thought from the University of Regina in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (Honours) and English (Major) from Saint Mary's University in 2008.
