Shane Hafiz

Shane Hafiz has a long and diverse work experience in the logistics and transport industry. Starting in 1996, they worked as an Operations Analyst and Supply Chain Strategy Manager at Linfox until 1999. Shane then joined Brambles Armoured as National Logistics Manager in 2000, and shortly after that, they moved to Cash Services Australia as a National Operations and Finance Manager until 2003. From 2003 to 2004, they served as the National Operations Manager at Chrisco Hampers. In 2004, they worked as a Logistics Improvement Manager at Scott's Refrigerated Freightways PTY LTD for a year. Shane then became the Logistics Director at ALDI Stores Australia from 2006 to 2013. In 2014, they joined a Supply Chain Consulting Firm as the General Manager of Logistics Consulting. Currently, Shane is the Head of Logistics & Transport at Metcash, starting their position in 2018.

Shane Hafiz completed a Dynamic Supply Chain Alignment for Senior Managers degree from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) in 2011. Earlier, they obtained a Master of Management degree with a focus on Logistics & Operations from MGSM in 2000. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computing & Mathematics from the University of Western Sydney in 1996.
