Ryan L.

Ryan L. is a highly experienced Staff Simulation Engineer at METECS since May 2013, specializing in training and simulation systems, internal research and development, and advanced computer graphics and visualization. Ryan has a strong background in polygonal modeling, CAD engineering modeling, and automation, along with expertise in vehicle CAN bus systems and virtual/augmented/mixed reality technologies. Prior to METECS, Ryan served as the HPDE Program Group Lead and Instructor for the National Auto Sport Association from 2008 to 2013, where responsibilities included managing instructor and student assignments. Ryan's extensive experience also includes a 13-year tenure at Southwest Research Institute, culminating as Principal Research Analyst, developing 3D simulation solutions across various sectors including military and agriculture. Ryan holds a Master’s degree in Computer Graphics from Texas A&M University, earned between 1993 and 1999.
