Thierry Leon

Thierry LEON is a seasoned aviation professional with extensive experience, currently serving as Vice Président and Président of the Commission Aviation de Transport at METEO FRANCE since October 2012. In these roles, Thierry LEON evaluates services in accordance with national and international regulations, formulates recommendations, and proposes necessary actions and funding sources while overseeing ongoing initiatives. Since October 1989, Thierry LEON has also been a line pilot at Air France, commanding B787 and B777 aircraft, and serving as a reference instructor for crew training and fleet integration. Educational credentials include a Brevet de Pilote de Ligne from ENAC and a Brevet de Navigateur Aerien from EPV 56S.
