Matt Flax

Matt Flax has a strong background in research and mathematical modeling. Matt currently works as a Senior Researcher at Meteo-Logic since 2022. Previously, they held the role of Lead Data Scientist at ЛАНИТ from 2018 to 2022, where they developed a mathematical model for optimizing ferroalloy consumption, resulting in an 8% reduction in costs. Prior to that, Matt was a Leading Research Scientist at The Pipeline Transport Institute R&D, LLC, where they developed a business process model and led the calculation software testing department. Matt also worked as a Software Development Lead at the Center for Information Technology and Expertise from 2006 to 2012, developing various software applications for mathematical calculations. Matt began their career as a Senior Scientist at the Institute of Applied Mechanics from 2004 to 2006.

Matt Flax has a strong educational background in the field of computer science. Matt attended Moscow State University of Instrument Engineering and Computer Sciences (MGUPI) for their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, Master of Science (MS) degree, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. Matt also obtained several certifications in different areas of expertise.
