Thomas Eldridge currently serves as a Technology Evangelist at Meteomatics AG since October 2021. Previously, Thomas held the position of PhD Researcher at the University of Reading from September 2015 to October 2021, focusing on the use of historical satellite data to better understand climate change, specifically regarding droughts in sub-Saharan Africa. Earlier experience includes roles as an Innovation Engineer at Digital Engineering Ltd and a Physics Undergraduate Student at the University of Bristol, where Thomas studied both Classical and Modern Physics, along with additional modules in German and International Relations. Thomas also worked as a Proof Reader at Technische Universität Darmstadt, coordinating proofreading efforts, and as a Water Modelling Technician at Vesuvius, designing and experimenting with models for steel manufacturing processes. Thomas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Bristol.
