Adrien Deveau

Adrien Deveau is the current President at Metergy Solutions, and they have been in the energy industry for over 20 years. Adrien previously worked as the Vice President, Principal at Energy Profiles Limited from March 2014 to September 2019. There, they were responsible for leading EPL's Building Analytics Team, overseeing project delivery, developing customized client solutions and providing strategic advice, business development, and contributing to business strategy/execution.

Before their time at Energy Profiles Limited, Deveau was the Executive Vice President - Green Buildings at Halsall Associates from February 1998 to February 2014. In this role, they were responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for Halsall’s Green Buildings Group. Adrien also oversaw all aspects of project delivery, including business development, project management, and quality assurance.

Deveau has been instrumental in driving down energy consumption and providing smart building solutions at properties and property portfolios across North America. Adrien is a pioneer in web and cloud based utility and sustainability data management and smart building analytics. Adrien has provided custom Energy Management Information Systems and Reporting for an aggregate commercial portfolio in excess of 7,000 properties and $1B in annual utility costs. Their systems are used by GRESB Global Sector Leaders.

Adrien Deveau has a Master of Applied Science in Building Construction Technology from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from McGill University.
