Rob Willink

Rob Willink has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Rob has held roles in various companies, including Metgasco Ltd. and Timor Resources Ltd, where they served as a Director. Rob also worked as an Exploration Advisor at Central Petroleum Limited. At Origin Energy Ltd, they held the position of Director of Exploration Projects, where they were responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing interests in potential exploration acreage. Rob also oversaw the professional development of geoscientists and technical support staff. Prior to that, they served as the Executive General Manager of Geoscience & Exploration New Ventures and General Manager of Greenfields Exploration at Origin Energy Limited. Rob has also held positions at Boral Energy Limited, Sagasco Resources Ltd, Adelaide University, NV Turkse Shell, and Petroleum Development Oman LLC. Rob Willink's extensive experience includes exploration management, strategic planning, risk assessment, and mentoring of staff in the geoscience field.

Rob Willink received their education in the field of geology. Rob completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree at the University of Tasmania from 1971 to 1975. Prior to that, they had also obtained a Higher School Certificate from Devonport High School in 1974. Later, Rob pursued a PhD in Geology, specializing in petroleum geology and geophysics at The Australian National University from an unspecified start year to 1978.
