Mohamed Hosny

Mohamed Hosny, MBA, has extensive experience in the engineering and inspection sectors, currently serving as Superintendent of Projects and General Maintenance at Methanex Corporation since 2008, alongside leading the Inspection & QA/QC team. As a key member of the Global Methanex Static Equipment Team, Mohamed has contributed significantly to major turnaround projects and has experience in inspection engineering roles at both Methanex and Cairo Oil Refining Company, where responsibilities included overseeing the inspection processes for crude oil refining and ASME pressure vessel fabrication. Prior experience includes a role as Field Engineer with M-I SWACO, focusing on the inspection and maintenance of solid control equipment. Mohamed holds a Master of Business Administration in Project Management from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, specializing in Metallurgical and Material Engineering, from Suez University.
