Jorge Henao

Jorge Henao, MBA, CPA, CMA has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jorge currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Methapharm and ACIC Pharmaceuticals Inc. Their previous roles include serving as a Fractional CFO at JH, a Senior Business Advisor in Financial Management at the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), and a Manager, Concepts and Business Cases at TD Bank. Jorge also held the position of Director Finance and Administration (Country CFO) at Havas Worldwide Colombia (formerly Euro RSCG) and worked as a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young Global Consulting Services.

Jorge Henao, MBA, CPA, CMA, has a strong educational background in business and accounting. Jorge obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Industrial Design from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in 1992. Jorge then pursued further studies and completed an MBA in Finance and Marketing at HEC Montréal from 1995 to 1997. Jorge later expanded their credentials by enrolling in the Accelerated Program in Management Accounting at CMA Ontario in 2007, where they received their degree. In 2008, they continued their education with the Strategic Leadership Program (SLP) at CMA Ontario (currently under CPA), which they completed in 2010. Additionally, Jorge received the CPA certification from CPA Ontario. Jorge recently completed the CFO Program in Organizational Leadership at Professional Development CPA Ontario in 2021.
