Nelson De Miranda has a strong background in customer success and professional services. Nelson has held various roles at Method Integration, starting as a Consultant and eventually becoming the Senior Director of Customer Success, Sales, and Professional Services. In their role as Senior Director, Nelson focuses on providing leadership to a diverse team and bridging the gap between customer success, professional services, and product development. Nelson also leads cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products and services to customers.

Prior to their time at Method Integration, Nelson worked at Esri Canada as a GIS Analyst, where they served as the technical lead for the Community Maps team. Nelson developed a customized map creation workflow utilizing ArcGIS and played a key role in implementing map deliverables to meet client demands.

Nelson also has experience as a GIS Consultant at the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, where they developed and implemented a custom ArcObjects application to assist staff with GIS tasks.

Before entering the professional world, Nelson worked as a Researcher and Research Assistant at York University, conducting a long-term hydrological monitoring program in a High Arctic Wetland.

Overall, Nelson brings a wealth of experience in customer success, professional services, and GIS to their roles, demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Nelson De Miranda pursued their education in the field of geography and remote sensing. From 2005 to 2009, they attended York University and earned a Certificate in Remote Sensing and GIS. During the same period, they also obtained a Specialized Honours Degree in Geography from York University. Following that, they enrolled in Fleming College in 2009 and completed a Post Graduate Certificate in GIS Applications Specialist in 2010.

Additionally, Nelson De Miranda has obtained multiple certifications related to their field of study. In 2012, they achieved the titles of Enterprise Geodatabase Management Associate 10.1 (EGMA101), Web Application Developer Associate 10.1 (EWDA101), and ArcGIS Desktop Professional 10.0 & 10.1 (EADP10 & EADP101) from Esri. The following year, in 2013, they became a Method Certified Consultant and a Method Certified Customization Consultant from Method:CRM. Lastly, in 2014, they obtained the Quickbooks ProAdvisor - Quickbooks Online certification from Intuit.
