Benjamin Afoakwa is a highly experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in nursing and pharmacy. Currently serving as a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare since April 2022, Benjamin has also held the position of Clinical Staff Pharmacist at Select Medical since June 2017, and the Director of Pharmacy at Baptist Memorial Health Care since January 2008. Additionally, Benjamin has contributed to academia as an Associate Professor in the Clinical Pharmacology Physician Assistant program at Christian Brothers University from January 2019 to July 2022. Benjamin holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (2012-2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from The University of Memphis (2004-2007).
