Bobby Bluford

Bobby Bluford, DNP, MS, RN, NEA-BC has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Currently employed at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare as an Associate Chief Nursing Officer, they are responsible for developing and implementing strategic visions for the Cardiovascular Service Line. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Nursing for the Cardiovascular Service Line and as the Clinical Director for CVICU, CVSD, and Cardiac Monitoring at Methodist University Hospital.

Bluford has also worked with Genesis as a Registered Nurse in Crisis Response and served as an Independent Contractor specializing in COVID Operations and Point of Care Testing. Additionally, they worked at Lovelace Health System, where they served as AVP Admin Dir Med Surg and Nursing Administration overseeing multiple departments and implementing patient experience improvement initiatives.

Bobby Bluford, DNP, MS, RN, NEA-BC has an extensive education history. Bobby earned their Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nursing Executive Organizational Leadership from The University of New Mexico. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Bobby also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Angelo State University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Religious Education from Harding University.

In addition to their degrees, Bobby has obtained several certifications in their field. Bobby is certified in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) by the American Red Cross. Bobby also holds the Nurse Executive Advanced (NEA-BC) certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Furthermore, they are a Registered Nurse, certified by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. Bobby has specialized training in Group 2 Social and Behavioral Research Investigators, obtained from the CITI Program, a Division of BRANY.
