Sami Sakaan

Sami Sakaan is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center with previous experience as an Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. Prior to this, Sami worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at Methodist University Hospital and as a PGY2 Internal Medicine Resident at Methodist Healthcare. Sami started their career as a Pharmacy Intern at the Department of Veterans Affairs and Rite Aid Pharmacy. They earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Tennessee College Health Science Center and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Biology from The University of Memphis.
