Zach Pretzer

Zach Pretzer, CFRE, began their work experience in 2003 as an Adidas Partners in Sports Graduate Assistant and Graduate Teaching Associate at the University of Tennessee. Zach then moved on to Bryn Mawr College in 2005, where they served as an Assistant Athletics Director for Media Relations and NCAA Compliance. In 2006, they joined Oberlin College as the Assistant Athletic Director for External Affairs before transitioning to the role of Associate Director of the Oberlin Alumni Fund. In 2010, Pretzer joined the University of Tennessee Health Science Center as the Director of Annual Giving before being promoted to Senior Director of Development, College of Medicine in 2011. Zach left the university in 2017 to become the Director of Major Gifts at Methodist Healthcare Foundation, and later assumed the position of President of Methodist Healthcare Foundation in 2019.

Zach Pretzer, CFRE, holds a Master's of Science degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which they completed from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's of Arts degree from Oberlin College, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. In 2013, they obtained their CFRE certification from CFRE International.
