Nega Getaw

Nega Getaw, MSHI, M(ASCP), MLS(AMT), is currently an Epic Analyst and Principal Trainer at Methodist Health System, where they utilize their extensive expertise in lab systems. With over 14 years of experience in healthcare, Nega previously served as a Laboratory Information System Administrator at White Rock Medical Center and as a Medical Technologist at both St. John Health System and Baylor Scott & White Health. They also contributed to the academic field as a laboratory lecturer at Arada Giorgis Medical College from 2008 to 2011. Nega holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology from the University of Gondar and a Master of Science in Health Informatics from the University of New England, where they excelled with a 3.93 GPA.
