Nimesh H. Patel M.D.

Nimesh H. Patel MD MBA has worked at Methodist Health System since 2008 where they served as an Executive Medical Director and Neurosurgeon. In their role as Executive Medical Director, they focused on expanding market presence by establishing Neuroscience, Back and Spine services in new markets. Nimesh H. also developed and implemented quality and financial metrics for these divisions and managed various aspects of operations, finance, recruitment, and personnel in both ambulatory and hospital settings. Prior to this role, Nimesh H. Patel worked at NHP Capital Investments as a Partner starting in 2000.

Nimesh H. Patel MD MBA completed their education history as follows: they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General from the University of Kentucky in 1997. Nimesh H. then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Louisville, graduating in 2003. Following that, they completed a Residency in Neurosurgery at RUSH University from 2003 to 2009. In 2019, they attended The University of Texas at Dallas to earn an MBA in Healthcare Management and Leadership. Nimesh H. Patel MD MBA has also obtained a variety of additional certifications, including Certified Physician Executive from the American Association for Physician Leadership in 2018, CNS Vanguard Leadership in Healthcare from the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) in 2018, and Board Certification in Neurological Surgery from the American Board of Neurological Surgery in 2013.
