Rachel Brooks

PRN Registered Dietitian

Rachel Brooks, MCN, RD, is a seasoned dietitian currently working at Methodist Health System as a PRN Registered Dietitian and as a Registered Dietitian at the Methodist Digestive Institute since January 2018. Rachel specializes in inpatient and outpatient medical nutrition therapy for patients with various gastrointestinal conditions, including pancreatitis and cancer, while also providing cross coverage support, conducting nutrition assessments, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. Previous experience includes completing a comprehensive clinical program at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where Rachel provided medical nutrition therapy across various clinical settings and developed nutrition education programs. Rachel also has a background in retail as an Assistant Buyer with JCPenney and Neiman Marcus. Academic qualifications include a Master of Clinical Nutrition from UT Southwestern and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Spanish from Washington and Lee University. Rachel received recognition as an Outstanding New Employee Nominee in 2019.
