Rachel Watson

Rachel Watson has extensive experience in infection prevention and control, currently serving as the System Infection Prevention Director at Methodist Health System since January 2024. Prior to this role, Rachel held various positions at Baylor Scott & White Health, including System Manager of Infection Prevention and Control, as well as Infection Prevention Practitioner and Manager at other institutions. Rachel's career began as an Epidemiology Graduate Assistant at the WVU Department of Community Medicine Education Programs and has included roles such as Infection Control Coordinator and Environmental Health/Safety Intern. Rachel holds a Master of Business Administration from the SMU Cox School of Business and a Master of Public Health in Policy and Management from West Virginia University, where Rachel also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology.
