Lauren Rea has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lauren started their career as an Intern for the Scott and White Foundation at Baylor Scott & White Health Centers in 2014. In 2013, they interned in Ethylene Oxide at the Royal Dutch Shell Group, where they implemented a new barcoding system and instructed lab technicians on the new procedure.
Moving forward, Lauren joined Sendero in 2016 as an Associate, where they analyzed current business processes and engineered solutions for a custom web-based application. In 2018, they took on the role of an Analyst, overseeing budget, timeline, vendors, and requirements for multiple mobile application projects.
In 2019, Lauren joined Medical City Healthcare (Formerly HCA North Texas) as a Patient Care Technician, where they provided care for up to 34 patients simultaneously and anticipated coworker and patient needs. Their responsibilities also included obtaining blood glucose and vital signs, bathing, dressing, changing, repositioning, and transporting patients.
Currently, Lauren works at Methodist Richardson Medical Center as an Intensive Care Nurse, a role they started in February 2023.
Lauren Rea's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Texas A&M University, which they completed during the years 2012 to 2016. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at The University of Texas at Arlington from 2019 to 2020. In 2022, they attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center to further their studies in Nursing Science and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
