Mitch Magee has a diverse work experience in healthcare and thoracic surgery. Mitch later pursued a Residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Transplantation at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, attending from 1991 to 1994.

Mitch Magee also completed a Fellowship in Mechanical Circulatory Support at the Texas Heart Institute, although no specific dates were provided for this experience.
