Jim Jurista has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Jim began their career in 1991 as a Programmer/Analyst at AT&T, where they led the initiative to convert a large paper manual to a web-based content management system. Jim also developed and delivered multiple custom business software database systems.
In 1995, they joined Johnson & Johnson as an IT Project Manager and Consultant. In this role, they led the search and selection process for IT vendors and integrated content and data from various systems for global health and benefits intranet initiatives.
After leaving Johnson & Johnson, Jim held multiple roles at different companies. Jim worked as a Contract Consultant at The Vanguard Group, served as the Director of Strategic Technology at Logical Design Solutions, and was the Director of Advanced Technology at The MONY Group.
In 1997, Jim co-founded and co-owned Metis Consulting Group, where they were the Chief Technology Officer. Since 2002, they have been a Consulting IT Architect at Signature Travel Network, providing contracted services such as consulting with executives on business and technology strategies, managing client relationships and projects, and delivering services.

Jim Jurista has a diverse education history. Jim started by earning a Regents Diploma from Vestal High School in 1986. Jim then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Archaeology from the University at Albany, SUNY, from 1986 to 1990. Later, Jim attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences, specializing in Database and Graphics concentrations from 1992 to 1994.
