Andrei Sinelnikov's work experience begins in 2006 as an Application Architect/Technical Team Lead at Alberta Advanced Education and Technology. Andrei then moved on to work as an Application Architect at Alberta Municipal Affairs in 2008. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as an Application Architect / Technical Team Lead at the Worker's Compensation Board (WCB) and then as a Technical Team Lead at the City of Edmonton. In 2011, Andrei joined Servus Credit Union as an Application Architect / Solutions Architect before transitioning to Alberta Education as an Enterprise Application Architect in 2014. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Bruce Power as a Solutions Architect, where they were responsible for developing enterprise-level solutions and integrating applications, systems, and platforms. In 2022, Andrei joined Metis as an Information Technology Solutions Architect and became the DC of Process at the MetisDAO Foundation later in the same year.

Andrei Sinelnikov earned a Master of Computer Science degree in Computer Systems Design and Technology from the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET) between the years 1991 and 1997. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2021. Andrei has also received multiple Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Professional Developer: Web Developer (MCPD: Web Developer) in November 2007, Microsoft Certified IT Professional in Microsoft SQL Server (MCITP: SQL Server) in January 2007, and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialists in Microsoft SQL Server (MCTS: SQL Server) in May 2006. Other Microsoft certifications achieved by Andrei include Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer on Microsoft Windows Server (MCSE) in February 2004, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator on Microsoft Windows Server (MCSA) in January 2004, Microsoft Certified Solution Developer for Microsoft .NET (MCSD.NET) in April 2003, Microsoft Certified Application Developer for Microsoft .NET (MCAD.NET) in February 2003, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) in December 2001, and Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) in November 2001.
