Jared Buytenhuys

Jared Buytenhuys is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in management accounting, financial analysis, and business partnering across the renewable energy and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Finance Business Partner at METKA since August 2021, Jared connects the financial and operational aspects of the company in the APAC region, providing critical insights into project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows. Previously, Jared held the position of Corporate Business Controller at ENGIE, overseeing performance reporting for all corporate entities and managing budget accountability. Earlier roles include Finance Manager for Shanahan Engineering in Africa, where responsibility encompassed the end-to-end finance function and team management, as well as various positions at UTi Worldwide, focusing on financial reporting and analysis across multiple subsidiaries. Jared holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance Management from the University of Pretoria and is a qualified member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
