Joe Mattley is an experienced Design Engineer currently employed at MetLase since December 2024. Previously, Joe served as a Senior Product Design Engineer at Mobile Power from January 2023 to December 2024, focusing on the design of battery rentals and charging equipment for off-grid communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to that, Joe spent nearly a decade at Xeros Technology Group plc, initially as a Design Engineer before advancing to a Senior Design Engineer role, where responsibilities included managing a team and designing environmental technologies such as micro particle filters and washing machine systems. Joe holds a 1st Class MDes in Product Design from Sheffield Hallam University and completed A Levels at Ashby School.
