Catherine Burke

Catherine Burke currently serves as General Counsel at METKA EGN since May 2018 and is an Energy Partner at Freeths LLP, a position held since June 2011, specializing in climate change and energy law, particularly in renewable energy and regulatory matters. Prior experience includes being an Energy Partner at Martineau from May 2003 to June 2011, focusing on contracts and regulatory advice in the energy sector, and serving as a Director at DLA Piper from January 1999 to May 2003, specializing in PFI projects. Earlier roles include Senior Legal Adviser positions at Transco and ICI Paints and legal assistant at Rexam. Catherine Burke earned a Law degree from The University of Sheffield between 1981 and 1984.
