Marisa Melliou

Marisa Melliou is an accomplished professional in the field of internal audit and corporate governance, currently serving as Group Internal Audit Senior Director at Metlen Energy & Metals since March 2022. Prior to this role, Marisa held various significant positions, including Group Audit Director at OPAP S.A. from June 2014 to March 2022 and Chief Internal Auditor at the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund from January 2012 to May 2014. Marisa has also contributed to academia as a Visiting Lecturer in Corporate Governance and Internal Audit at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens from 2015 to 2017 and at The American College of Greece from 1995 to 1997. With extensive experience in internal audit across multiple organizations, including the National Bank of Greece and Deloitte Greece, Marisa possesses a strong educational background with a Master's degree in Information Management from The University of Sheffield and a Certificate in Blockchain Strategy from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
