Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions for educational technologies. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to hardware and firmware development for innovative interactive whiteboards and accessories. Prior experience includes roles as an electronics contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation and electronics engineer at Grindcom, where Chris focused on control systems for the forestry industry. Additionally, Chris served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting engineering labs and assessments. Academically, Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
