Vasileios Mavrakis

Vasileios Mavrakis is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Business Development Manager and Energy Trader at Metlen Energy & Metals since February 2018. Responsibilities include participating in auctions, trading in spot power markets, managing physical positions, and executing power futures trading as a certified user at EEX, alongside OTC contracts and price forecasting. Prior to this role, Vasileios worked as an Electrical Engineer at Systemica L.P., specializing in large-scale automation control systems. Vasileios began a career in the Hellenic Air Force as a Meteorologist, focusing on weather observation and data transmission.
