Joe Demetrick

Joe Demetrick is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in derivatives and fixed income markets. Currently serving as the Managing Director for Public Fixed Income and Derivatives at MetLife since 2003, Joe leads the Structured Solutions Group, focusing on structuring, executing, and managing derivative transactions, especially in credit derivatives. Previously, Joe held various roles at Mizuho Corporate Bank from 1999 to 2003, including Director of Derivatives & Liquid Markets and Associate Director in the Market Strategy Group, as well as trading and risk management positions at Nomura Securities from 1995 to 1998. Joe holds an MBA in Finance and Statistics from NYU Stern School of Business and a BS in Accountancy from Bentley University.
