Josh Wiener

Josh Wiener has extensive experience in sustainability and environmental policy, most notably serving as Vice President, Global Sustainability & Climate Lead at MetLife from January 2008 to July 2022. In this role, Josh led the global climate strategy and sustainability agenda, focusing on initiatives such as Net Zero decarbonization and enhancing long-term value creation. Prior positions at MetLife included Assistant Vice President roles, where responsibilities encompassed enterprise-wide ESG integration and overseeing sustainability and facilities operations. Josh's early career involved environmental policy research for both the New Jersey Senate and Warm Heart Worldwide, where innovative community development projects were initiated. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Environmental Policy from Rutgers University, along with completed courses in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies at Stanford University.
