Lori Akers

Lori Akers is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in technology solutions and financial reporting. Since February 2002, Lori has held various leadership roles at MetLife, including Vice President of Finance Technology Solutions and Standards, where key contributions to the Global Reporting Center of Excellence have supported a user base in over 40 countries. Lori's expertise in managing enterprise-wide system implementations and defining global reporting strategies has driven significant strategic initiatives, such as the rollout of the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Plus and a shared metadata management tool. Prior experience includes roles at Oracle as a Financial Systems Functional Consultant and Freedom Chemical Company as Assistant Treasurer. Lori earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Villanova University and completed the Harvard Financial Management Competency Development Program at Harvard Business School.
