Stephen Persche, Ph.D., currently serves as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for US Business at MetLife Holdings, overseeing HR functions across US Group Benefits, Retirement Income Solutions, and enterprise-level operations in Global Brand & Marketing and Legal Affairs since November 2021. Prior to MetLife, Stephen held various senior HR leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson for over 21 years, including directing global HR initiatives in divisions ranging from Trauma/CMF to Pharmaceuticals. Stephen began his career in human resources with Bloomberg LP and has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at The College of New Jersey. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems, an MBA in Human Resources, and other advanced degrees in Human Development and Management.
