Angie Grover

Co-Founder & COO at Metopio

Angie Grover is the Co-Founder and COO at Metopio. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Government Relations and Public Policy at AMITA Health from October 2016 to October 2019. In this role, Angie represented the largest private health system in Illinois with elected officials at every level as well as a wide variety of community stakeholders. Angie was responsible for developing and managing AMITA Health's advocacy and public policy agenda, holding key relationships, analyzing the impact of legislation and rule-making, and recommending strategy to leadership. Angie also built capacity throughout the system to impact public policy in Illinois, including executive engagement, grassroots and community partners. Angie successfully developed and measured system capacity, impact and influence to achieve specific public policy goals through advocacy effectiveness score.

Before their time at AMITA Health, Angie served as the Director of State Government Affairs at McKesson from April 2010 to June 2016. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing McKesson's state government affairs strategy. Angie also managed a team of government affairs professionals and worked closely with McKesson's business units to develop and implement legislative and regulatory initiatives.

Angie began their career in government relations at Feeding America, where they served as the Director of Government Relations from April 2009 to April 2010. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing Feeding America's federal government relations strategy. Angie also managed a team of government affairs professionals and worked closely with Feeding America's business units to develop and implement legislative and regulatory initiatives.

From January 2003 to February 2009, Angie served as the Associate Director of the Asia Pacific Region for The Nature Conservancy. In this role, they were responsible for leading The Nature Conservancy's conservation campaigns in the Asia Pacific region. Angie also advised senior management on conservation issues and developed and implemented strategic plans for The Nature Conservancy's Asia Pacific region.

Angie Grover has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Drake University, a Paralegal Certification in Political Science from University of San Diego, and a Semester Study in Foreign Policy from American University. Angie also attended Belvidere High School.

They are on a team with and Jonathan Giuffrida - Co-Founder & CTO. Their manager is Will Snyder, Co-Founder & CEO.
