Dan McNeill

Dan McNeill has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Dan began their career at United Airlines as a Multimedia Training Specialist, where they designed and managed the creation of multimedia-based training products. Dan then moved on to The Thomson Corporation, where they served as a Senior Instructional Designer, responsible for designing online courses for a global audience.

After their time at Thomson, Dan joined Allstate Insurance as a Senior Consultant, focusing on instructional design and project management for web-based courseware. Dan also led a team in developing a required curriculum of corporate policy courses.

From there, Dan transitioned to IBM Global Process Services as a Learning Performance Consultant, working on innovative learning experiences for Allstate clients. Dan then took on the role of Professor at McHenry County College, teaching game design classes and mentoring students in creating serious games.

Dan's career then shifted to the field of professional development, as they joined the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) as a Manager of Education Development, overseeing virtual education programs. Dan later became the Director of Professional Development before moving on to become the Chief Learning Director at the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS).

Dan's most recent roles include serving as the Director of Education Curriculum and Alliances at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and as the Associate Deputy Director of the E-Learning & Technology Unit at the Illinois Judicial College. Dan is currently working as the Senior Division Director of Operations Learning and Development Programs at Metra Commuter Rail, where they are responsible for developing and delivering training programs to ensure compliance with regulations.

Throughout their career, Dan has demonstrated expertise in program development, project management, curriculum planning, and implementing innovative learning solutions.
