Gareth Wallace is a seasoned engineering professional with a diverse background in continuous improvement, design, and validation across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Sr. Continuous Improvement Analyst at Metra Commuter Rail since October 2018, Gareth has previously held key positions at Navistar Inc. as a Design Release Engineer and at General Motors as a Validation Engineer, where responsibilities included ensuring product release milestones and developing test schedules. Experience also includes significant roles at AM General LLC as a Principal Engineer – Powertrain, Jernberg Industries as a Design Engineer, and as a self-employed consultant specializing in custom machinery. Earlier career highlights involve positions at MacLean-Fogg Company, VERSA TECH, LLC, Hendrickson, and Dana Holding Corporation, showcasing a strong foundation in engineering design, project management, and technical support.
