Jack Berens

Jack Berens is an experienced environmental professional with a solid background in project management and compliance. Currently serving as Project Manager for Environmental Compliance and Permitting at Metra Commuter Rail since January 2022, Jack previously held positions as an Environmental Scientist at GSG Consultants, Inc. and Field Inspector at A3 Environmental Consultants. Additional experience includes work as an Intermittent Aide for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, where extensive data collection on fish and wildlife species was conducted, and an internship at The Davey Tree Expert Company focusing on storm damage remediation and tree maintenance. Jack holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs with a concentration in Environmental Management from Indiana University Bloomington.
