Todd Cabonor has a diverse work experience in the field of environmental compliance and safety. Todd started their career as an Environmental Scientist at Marlin Environmental Consulting LLC, where they specialized in technical environmental compliance reports and managed remediation subcontractors. Todd then worked as a Mergers and Acquisitions Manager - Environmental at AEI Consultants, where they were responsible for project development and client management. Todd later joined RTD as an Environmental Compliance Officer, overseeing environmental procedures and policies for federally funded public transit projects. Currently, Todd is working at Metra Commuter Rail as a Senior Director Safety, Environmental Compliance, and Industrial Hygiene. In this role, they direct safety, environmental compliance, and industrial hygiene practices for multiple corporate and industrial sites, and serves as a subject matter expert at the national level. Todd has successfully built and developed a highly successful EHS and sustainability compliance team for regulatory activities.
Todd Cabonor completed their education history as follows:
- From 2009 to 2012, they attended the University of Colorado Denver and earned a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning degree with a focus on Environmental Compliance and Transportation.
- From 1998 to 2002, they studied at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Geography, specializing in Environmental Science.
- Prior to that, from 1994 to 1998, they graduated from Grayslake Central High School.
