Joshua Farkas

Joshua Farkas has worked in various industries since 2011. Joshua began their career at Orlando Health as a Guest Services and Patient Transport, where they utilized multiple programs to serve guests and patients, trained coworkers in the efficient use of computers, and navigated several vast resources to provide information about facility and operations. In 2015, they joined Universal Orlando Resort as a Park Services Lead, where they coordinated team effort to maintain park cleanliness and provide guest service, accessed intranet to view team schedule, daily events, and other pertinent information, and utilized ticketing system to input any technical issues. In 2019, Joshua worked at Walmart as a Self Checkout Host, where they utilized point of sale system to complete routine transactions, assessed guest needs and responded to questions, and monitored area for general issues, questions, cleanliness, and appropriate guest usage. In 2020, they joined Orchid Insurance as a Programmer Analyst I, where they created and maintained working software, developed and maintained applications and databases by evaluating client needs, analyzing requirements, and developing software systems, and learned insurance business concepts and various aspects around it. Most recently, Joshua started working at Metrc as a Software Engineer in 2021.

Joshua Farkas began their education in 2008, when they obtained an Associate's degree in General Studies from Valencia College. Joshua then returned to Valencia College in 2012, graduating with an Associate's degree in Computer Programming in 2015. Joshua subsequently attended the University of Central Florida, graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Software Engineering.
