Dean Kusuda

Dean Kusuda has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Dean started their career as a Field Applications Engineer at Computer IO Corp in 2000, where they provided engineering support and developed effective solutions for customers. In 2001, they joined Kimmich Software Systems, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, leading the development of Ruby/jRuby applications for data processing systems. From 2008 to 2010, Dean worked as a Senior Software Engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology, where they developed an enterprise inventory application suite using J2EE technologies. Dean then joined Leidos in 2010 as a Software Engineer, working on the SensorWeb program and utilizing open source technologies and standards to develop enterprise services for collecting and presenting sensor data. In 2018, they joined Amches as a Software Engineer. Dean's most recent position is as a Principal Software Engineer at Markpoint Technologies LLC since 2019, where they have been responsible for software development. In 2023, Dean will transition to Metrea Special Aerospace as a Principal Software Engineer.

Dean Kusuda has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, earned from 1986 to 1988. Dean also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Strategic Intelligence from Defense Intelligence College, obtained between 1991 and 1995. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science at Oregon State University from 1981 to 1985. In addition to their academic achievements, Dean has obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in July 2018.
