Calvin Wiebe

Calvin Wiebe began their work experience as a software tester at LSEC in 2010, where they focused on functional testing and verifying the integrity of software applications. Calvin then worked as an automation software developer at Cognos IBM in 2008, where they developed automated testing infrastructure using Python. In 2009, Calvin worked as an automation software developer at Adobe Systems, developing automation software for Adobe LiveCycle products in Python and Visual Basic. Calvin then joined Land Software Engineering Centre as a junior developer in 2011 before moving to Avaya as a software engineer in the same year. Calvin worked as a software developer at Benbria from 2012 to 2016, collaborating with a small team to build a customer engagement web app using Node. Calvin currently holds the position of Senior Software Developer at Metrics Technologies since 2016, where they are part of a small team building a microservice-based cloud solution for organizing and tracking integrated circuit simulation result data.

Calvin Wiebe attended Carleton University from 2005 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Software Engineering. Calvin opted for the co-op option, allowing him to gain practical work experience alongside their studies.
