Jake Barnett has worked in the software engineering field since 2013. Jake began their career as an Analyst at Blackline Group, Inc. where they worked with clients to execute change management plans, trained clients on new procedures, and developed comprehensive reports on product adoption. In 2015, they joined Apptentive as an Associate Software Engineer, where they developed features and systems throughout the web application stack. In 2020, they began working at Meta as a Software Engineer, where they focused on web clients and backend services + APIs, with some mobile work as well. Jake worked on products used by hundreds of millions of monthly active users for Facebook Messenger. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Ampd.
Jake Barnett holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon and is also a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in October 2019.
