Kurt Keilhacker has a diverse range of work experience in various industries and roles. In 1997, they co-founded TechFund Capital, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage technology companies in Silicon Valley. Kurt served as the Managing Partner for TechFund Europe and TechFund Capital, where they played a key role in the investment and growth of notable companies such as Cobalt Networks and NetMind. In 1998, Keilhacker also served as a Board Director and Chair for Embrace Networks, a device network company that was later acquired by Digi International.
In 2002, Keilhacker became a Board Director for 6WIND, a virtualized secure network software company, where they remained until 2019. During this time, they secured corporate co-investors such as Cisco and Thales. In 2006, they joined Miyowa SA as a Board Director before it was acquired by Synchronoss.
In 2013, Keilhacker became a Board Trustee for AMG Funds, a mutual fund complex with over $20 billion in assets under management. Kurt also served as a Board Director for AMG Pantheon Fund in 2014.
In 2015, Keilhacker co-founded Elementum Ventures, a seed-stage deep tech venture capital firm specializing in multidisciplinary team-built technologies with pioneering intellectual property. Two years later, in 2018, they became a Board Director for Mekonos Inc., a biotech platform company. Kurt also served as a Board Director for Ampd, a company involved in molecular delivery in cells.
Most recently, in 2022, Keilhacker joined Cortex Fusion Systems as a Board Director. Kurt brings a wealth of experience and expertise to each role they undertake, contributing to the success of the companies they work with.
Kurt Keilhacker has a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from Wheaton College. Kurt also holds a Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.) degree from Harvard University, a Master of Liberal Arts (M.L.A.) degree from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago.
