Robin Gareiss has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Robin began their career in 1990 as a Senior News Editor at CMP Media. In 1994, they moved to McGraw-Hill as a Senior News Editor, where they wrote award-winning stories on the early business use of the Internet, wireless technologies, and the complexities and waste of government tax programs for technology advancement. In 1999, they joined InformationWeek as an Editor. In 2003, they founded Nemertes Research, where they served as President and conducted detailed research projects in the areas of digital customer experience, digital transformation, and collaboration. Robin also oversaw product development, client services, and finances. In 2020, they became the CEO and Principal Analyst at Metrigy.
Robin Gareiss earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
