Nikos Andrikogiannopoulos has had a diverse work experience. In 2007, they started working as a Network Engineer at Vodafone. Nikos then joined Cartesian in 2011, where they worked in various roles including Consultant, Engagement Manager, Principal, and Advisor. At Cartesian, they provided guidance and subject matter expertise to client responses to FCC's proposed rule-making and led the Networks Practice, helping clients with network planning, virtualization, and analytics. In 2019, Nikos founded their own company called Metrika, where they currently hold the position of Founder & CEO. Additionally, in 2023, they will become a Technology Advisory Committee (TAC) Member at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
Nikos Andrikogiannopoulos has a strong educational background in the field of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science. Nikos obtained a Diplom degree from the National Technical University of Athens from 1999 to 2004. Nikos further pursued their studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from 2004 to 2006. Nikos then decided to broaden their skill set and attended the MIT Sloan School of Management from 2009 to 2011, where they accomplished a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in remote team management and machine learning from Coursera.
