Dr. Catherine Hodgson has worked in various roles in the scientific field since 2012. Dr. Catherine began as a Researcher at Novartis in 2012, followed by a role as a Researcher at Addiction Dependency Solutions in 2016. During their time at Addiction Dependency Solutions, they communicated sensitively with clients to evaluate the efficacy of treatment services and interventions, conducted both quantitative and qualitative research, and developed and innovated psychosocial interventions for clients in services. Dr. Catherine also attended conferences, conducted literature reviews, and undertook research to support tenders and grant applications. In 2018, they moved to The University of Manchester as a Research Assistant, and in 2022 they began as a Scientist at Metrion Biosciences.
Dr. Catherine Hodgson's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Leeds (2018-2022), a Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychology with Industrial/ Professional Experience from The University of Manchester (2010-2014), and secondary school studies in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics at Haberdashers' Aske's School for Girls (1996-2010).
