Michael Smith is a technical instructor at Metris Global since July 2019, specializing in constitutional and federal criminal law while being certified in all Law Enforcement courses. Smith is also a NHTSA/NASBLA certified instructor for Boating Under the Influence detection and serves as a Non Lethal Training Ammunition Training Safety Officer. Prior to this role, Smith worked at Scout Boats as a final production rigger/fitter, executing the installation of luxury offshore fishing vessel components. Smith has extensive experience as a law enforcement instructor with PHAROS GROUP, INC. and served in the U.S. Coast Guard in various instructional and supervisory capacities from 2003 to 2018. Smith received an education from Thomas Edison State University between 2016 and 2018.
