Duncan Hwang is an accomplished professional currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Portland State University, where Duncan teaches PA538 Advocacy and Political Participation for Nonprofits. As a Councilor for District 6 at Metro since January 2022, Duncan has also held leadership roles at the Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon (APANO) since May 2013, including Community Development Director and Interim Co-Executive Director. In these positions, Duncan has focused on organizational development, strategic communications, and community economic development, particularly in the areas of transportation, affordable housing, and climate resilience.
